OK, so I am cruising on the Internet and seekinghow to make a rap beatand I found this really great site that offered me free software to do this. This is called freeware, and it will let me do just that very thing. It really does not take long, since after I finished downloading it, and that was the longest part, I'd say it will take you about 30 minutes to learn how to do this rap beat. They taught me right away how to do sample chopping and even doing some drum patter programming. Eventually they even got me to do some really basic audio editing. Imagine me doing that? Can you imagine how psyched I got?

So honest here's what I had to do: Once the software was all loaded, which I had to download including the editing and the audio software recording tool, then I could actually use this audio editing capability that they put into the software so that I could actually chop up the drum samples I had found. See, their program has all this basic functionality that you would usually get in those really expensive software packages marked for professional use. So, you will actually record songs and then be able to edit them all with this really neat software!

As a result then I decided that no matter what kind of music I wanted to create that I would need to create a beat with drums, some chopped samples, the bass and eventually some real or synthesized instruments. So, that's when I decided to simply concentrate on just the drums. After all, I realized that it was truly easy to locate the drum sounds on the Internet after that, and I grasped that those were going to be free too. Therefore I absolutely downloaded them using nothing but those individual sound files for all the basic categories or types of drum I was aware I needed. These were drums such as hi-hats, kicks or snares, and then like eventually it was just a matter of chopping up break beats. So, once I knew then that I could actually isolate all the individual drums. Naturally I could have used real drums and then recorded those but since I don't really own any, this was cool. Now all that you have to remember is that you just have to take your time, and be sure to carefully listen to the samples being offered as you'll want to only use the truly clean samples. So if you find one with too much hiss or some static you'll leave that one obviously.

At last, once you've located all those drum sounds you are going to need into the software, that's when you'll want to start loading the samples. That part is pretty uncomplicated, just click that load sample, locate the name you named it in your browser, and simply click open. You'll do that for all the drum beats you required and then save them as such, like hi-hat, snare, kick etc. On screen you'll see the drum sequencer, so that you can have let's say one measure of four beats divided for you into16 steps. Next you'll create 2 or 3 distinct drum patterns, so that you end up with the intro, the main and the bridge. A few songs don't have all those, but let's say you do. Now, set the tempo.
