Funeral solutions for Shimrit Shoshan had been held Tuesday in Israel.

"She had a massive heart in music, and in anything she did," Gilad Hekselman, a New-York-based guitarist and high-school classmate, said Sunday. "She was all about giving."

The New York jazz neighborhood will gather at the same time, at five p.m. this Sunday, August 26 at Smalls Jazz Club. It is yet another venue exactly where she led late-night jam sessions.

As with Shoshan's career when she died, far more events are in the works.
